The pastor mentions talking with Matt on the way back from the beach about their marriages. He says he’ll never forget a conversation in the car talking about their marriages - followed by some nervous laughter - he (Matt) was talking about how difficult his wife was - more uneasy laughter - but of the deep love he had for her.
How was she difficult?
Does anyone else recall them having marriage problems?
And why does the pastor seem uneasy when he mentions it?
Why does he mention it - was it common knowledge among those who were hearing his talk/sermon?
