More Questions than answers on Matt Stewart case?!

I can’t for the life of me understand why nobody in the family or connected to the family seems to care about solving this?!?!
First, if there was as much blood as reported, there should be foot prints showing which way the murder(s) left the house. There would have also been a very noticeable smell of blood dogs should have been able to track.
With my experience, I am nearly positive people are lying. Why they are is the real question?! He was not shot first, there would be no reason for the stabbing. Honestly, why would someone chose to stab him at any point if they had two different guns?! I think someone stabbed him first out of anger and than freaked out, at which time guns came into the picture. I just don’t know how the guns went unheard by anyone?! Especially by the daughter, unless given a sleeping aid. There house is tiny! I believe their daughter was at a sleepover for a reason, she would have been old enough to understand what was happening. I’ve heard she had sleepovers often and than heard that was her very first sleepover?! What’s the truth?
What type of relationship did the family have with the Mooresville Police Captain Phil Blocker?? Blocker said In an interview he knew the family personally and that Matthew Stewart was "a good guy."
