Just a comment regarding a nurse’s salary. I’m not sure how much they make in that area , but you could comfortably live here on that much. Especially if both were completed with their studies. I worked for Lake Norman Regional Medical Center from 2009 - 2016 as a medical office manager. I know what RN's and other clinical staff earned but I have no idea what an RN would make in the hospital working shifts. Was Angela an RN by that time? I know she is a NP now.

Steve, I’d love to give it a try. Problem is , I live a long distance from that state , although my circumstances would allow me to be gone from home for extended lengths of time.
A couple more questions. What size is the town ? Would you say that Matt and Angela came from similar backgrounds , as far as 2 parent homes, neighborhoods they came from, finances ?
Very intriguing idea about the book. Something to ponder. I’m going to read through the list of articles you posted today.
I’m not easily intimidated and not afraid to speak out , nor afraid of threats. If I were threatened, I’d talk even more , as I don’t like being told NOT to do something. That’d make me want to do it even more.

Sorry @ Pursootski, I’m on my iPod currently so not able to respond quite as well as at home. I don’t think my previous reply went through. In our area, RNs would make a really nice chunk of change if they work in a hospital. Not as much in a Drs office. NPs would be very well paid !

It's still under 40k people now... far less then. It's literally the center of the Nascar world with many drivers, race shops and support industries in the area. It has a classic downtown strip. Hopefully others can give you a better feel for it... I don't live there. Would you say that Matt and Angela came from similar backgrounds , as far as 2 parent homes, neighborhoods they came from, finances ? They seem comparable to me, but others here have personal connections to both of them and could answer this far better than I can. I’m going to read through the list of articles you posted today. Wasn't me. I think freddie posted that from his vast reams of research. Plus the thread was too professional looking for it to have been me. You'd think that guy didn't have anything better to do with his time.. like make another episode! I’m not easily intimidated and not afraid to speak out , nor afraid of threats. If I were threatened, I’d talk even more , as I don’t like being told NOT to do something. That’d make me want to do it even more. If you DARE move here and start writing a book, investigating this case and sticking your nose where it doesn't belong... you can expect to get it cut off! Do NOT do it. You've been warned! Did that work?

Mooresville population in 2009 was just a hair under 22k. The Stewart house would be considered in a "rural" area just north of Mooresville town limits.

Two guns don’t perplex me because someone could have had one got into a skirmish with Matt lost it pulled the second gun from holster and then begin shooting with that.

Good to see you again, Scar... it’s been a while! i don’t disagree with that logic until you add the knife into the mix. Then it makes no sense to me. If you have two guns, how do you end up with a knife?

I am no expert by ANY stretch, but I'd be curious to know how many 'similar' crimes occur with the perpetrator carrying two guns. Especially two of differing caliber. This isn't the wild west where Yosemite Sam is walking around wearing a two gun holster. :-D

Well actually it’s alot more common than you think I bet you walk by 10-15 people a day concealed carrying from their boot or leg. The one thing I’ve questioned is if the knife could have been Matt’s we’ve heard that he didn’t have a gun but what if he had some sort of knife laying by the bed and grabbed it as he rose to fight and in the end lost it during the fight and lost it to the suspect.

I've wondered several times if there wasn't some kind of outstanding threat that he was aware of and preparing for. I've even considered that the second gun could have been one that had been loaned to him for protection or something, presuming there wasn't two attackers. I still think the wound pattern indicates multiple assailants, though. Someone skilled at evaluating autopsies would really help the understanding of this case.
