Dozens of people have been interviewed and questioned by the police about the case. Family members, neighbors, friends, church members... even people who simply looked like the sketch. This is standard operating procedure and not any indicator of guilt.
Did anyone stand out to you as having gotten a LOT of attention from investigators? Multiple interviews, maybe? Lie detector? Property search?

Property search? I’ve always heard that Angels mother was numero uno from the get go. They impounded her car for several days and then took her to Hickory to the FBI field office for questioning and a polygraph. But like many people around the area when this happened said that she could have easily passed the polygraph cause they are fairly easy to beat.

Yes, definitely Angel and her mother received a lot of early attention. I know there were others who also got attention, sometimes only because they looked like the sketch. It's these people that I was hoping to hear more about.
Certainly there were people in the church and the community who know people who were questioned, or were questioned themselves?
