A member has come to me with information about some things that may have occurred in a 'healing room' at the church where Matt and Angel attended. I don't want to be too specific about it, but if anyone out there has more details about the situation, it could prove to be very helpful.

That could be very helpful if you could... or if anyone knows which church members worked in the healing rooms in 2009, that would be a great starting point.

Can you describe how you mean the healing room was different?

I deleted a duplicate post that onlysherry had accidentally posted twice. Other than that, I'm not aware of any deletions.
People can delete their own posts, I believe. Other than that, I'm the only one with the permissions to delete anything and I have no intention of ever doing that unless it violates the rules of the board. Even then, I would edit first whenever possible... and if something did ever have to be deleted, I would replace it with an explanation as to the reason why it was deleted. It wouldn't just disappear.

You are absolutely correct. I see that now. Someone who had visited the room and commented on it decided to remove what they had written.
I guess they had second thoughts about it.

Is what happens in the healing room supposed to be kept private, or do others know about what happens in there?

It does seem odd that someone would ask you to remove a post about what appears to be a confidential/secret experience. You have a right to respond. Secrecy just heightens the concern and suspicion. Especially when it’s a church.
