I, and others, have developed our own sketches of the floor plan of the Stewart home based on photos available online from when the house was for sale. While this has it's uses, what would be even better than this would be to have a confirmed layout from someone with either first hand knowledge or access to a drawing.
It's common in most neighborhoods for a floor plan to be used multiple times, sometimes as a mirror image. If you have the same floor plan, or know someone who does, it would be very helpful to get a description or drawing of the layout.
Also, knowledge of the actual furniture layout in their bedroom would make it significantly easier to analyze the medical examiner's report, if anyone is aware of that.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I like the fact that it states " freshly painted, new carpet". After looking at the Zillow post, it appears that the master bedroom would be at the top of the stairs in the rear of the house, and the master bath also to the rear of the house. The other two bedrooms are on the front of the house with the bonus room over the garage.

I did not see the house when the Stewarts lived in the house, but I was in it quite a bit when the family after the Stewarts lived in it (they were former church members of the Stewart's church and I believe rented the house after the Stewarts). I don't remember all the details of the house and didn't often go in the master bedroom or bathroom because I knew what had happened, but I could possibly give some insight into the floor plan of the house as I visited them quite often.

Were you ever up in the bedroom / bathroom area at all ? I was curious as to whether the bathroom was in the hallway on the way to the bedrooms, or if it was a room straight off the master bedroom ?

The bathroom was an en suite bathroom so the only way in and out of the bathroom was through the bedroom. The master bedroom was right by the stairs at the top on one side and on the other side was a giant open playroom. (the stairs came to a T of sorts). The master bedroom would have been the first thing anyone going up the stairs would have come to and then around the corner was two? bedrooms and a bathroom (presumably the kids' bathroom).
I don't know how the Stewarts had their bedroom set up but when I was there with the family who lived there immediately after the Stewarts, they had their bed in such a way that the bathroom entrance was at the foot of their bed. I went in the bathroom once or twice (just because I was curious) but I didn't spend a ton of time investigating the bedroom or bathroom because it honestly creeped me out a bit (since I knew the Stewarts).

Thanks. That’s sorta how I pictured the bathroom / bedroom in my head.

I have fantastic news on this! I have what I believe to be the floor plan. More than that, I have a picture of the bedroom as it was a year before the murder.
I’m going to start a new thread. This will need discussion. I’m going to lock this thread to make sure people continue the conversation in the new thread.
