Has anyone considered that there was one shooter and the second gun was owned by Matt, he took it out to shoot back, and it was taken from him?

Hey poozleGood question. This is definitely a possibility I've explored and thought about quite a bit. As you said, it could explain why there were two guns but allegedly only one intruder. In an unaired interview with Matt's daughter I did ask directly if there was a gun in the house. She said there was not. Virtually everyone close to the family who I asked said that neither Matt or Angel had a gun. That said, it piqued my interest when at least three people claimed Matt spoke about getting a gun in the weeks before we has murdered. If you remember, X claimed that less than two days before he was murder, Matt asked him to help him pick out a gun and learn to shoot. X says he told Matt yes but never had a chance to follow through. X was skeptical Matt would have gotten a gun on his own between the time of their last conversation on the evening of June 7th and his murder on the morning of June 9th. It's still something I wonder about.

That is a good question and point! There’s a lot of mention about Matt getting a gun. Could it be ‘Angel’ had a gun? Unregistered or illegit sort of thing? Matt maybe knew she had one and wanted one too, which made him inquire about it? I’m sure Angel could easily obtain one - it’d take Angel one phone call to her whack-job mother, who’d then call up her list of otherwise unsavory church folk. It’s possible Angel’s daughter lied or just didn’t know. Many people got firearms in their home and choose not to let their children know. But Freddie did say that he asked people close to the family and they said no. If I was gonna obtain an unregistered firearm for protection or to (for speculation’s sake) use it in a crime, I wouldn’t tell nobody...Except for my morally-deprived mother who I perhaps asked to get it for me...And also whom I later asked to scrub my husband’s blood off multiple surfaces and dispose of a bloody mattress. And for a final speculation, it seems in this family, specifically between Angel and her mother, anything is possible. Gramma don’t sit well with me.
