Hello! I have noticed that the daughter at the beginning said she spent the night at her friends house every weekend- an interview with matts friend from church, he said it was the very very first ever time she stayed away from home. Does this have any validity?

I'm confused about that too. Someone in this situation is not telling the truth.

Hey guys, I believe I addressed this in some earlier posts, and I also touched on it later in the third season.
Like you, my curiosity peaked when I first heard the conflicting accounts between Hannah and her pastor on whether or not the sleepover was routine or the first one of her life.
There are plenty of people aside from the pastor who had heard that this was her first sleep over. Some saw it as suspicious, and others saw it as just another example of divine intervention and protection.
Ultimately, after speaking with Michele (the woman who's house Hannah slept over at on the night of the murder) I've come to believe this was NOT Hannah's first sleep over. In our second interview, after I brought up that her pastor said it had been her first sleep over, Hannah explained that her sleeping over there was not a common occurrence (her and her friend typically did sleepovers at Hannah's house) and that it was rare, but not the first time it happened.
When Michele backed that claim up, I became more or less convinced; this wasn't her first sleepover, though her staying there overnight wasn't something that happened often.
