The lack of transparency of some close family members and their lack of want for the murderer to serve justice is disturbing to me. In all of the unsolved cases that I have followed, via podcasts or various media you always see the following common threads: close family desperatly seeking closure and thankfulness for media attention. No matter how you look at this case, this is for sure, person or persons got away with murder and justice has not been served.

I feel like the family definitely knows more than they are saying and don't want it investigated because it was a family member responsible.

The way everyone has acted in this situation is just bizarre. I know some feel that “pushing for answers” may put the family in danger, but I would do it anyway. There are a lot of things I could overlook as being weird or circumstantial, but the way everyone involved seems to want this to go away is bothersome.

It is certainly not the typical reaction from family. Most fight until their dying breath or until justice is served. I just cannot imagine moving on with my life without closure and justice. Matt would have fought for justice. I believe he would have forgiven, but he would not have just swept it under the rug and walked away.

Their are many missing pieces in this podcast that I hope will be found in upcoming episodes.
We know very little about the mother-in-law. Who is her spouse, boyfriend, and or father of Angel?
Who is the father of Angel's first child? What do we know about Angel's current husband?
The information we have about Matt and his family seems two dimensional to me
I hope some of these questions can be answered in future episodes.

At the very least, if you truly believe this was a random home invasion and an act committed by a dangerous stranger(s), even if you have enough faith to hand everything, including justice, over to G-d/Jesus, why would you be okay with a murdering walking the streets? Someone who could do this to another family? While I don't agree with it, I can kind of understand being so deep in your faith that you make peace with justice being served on an eternal level, but I can't understand not caring one bit about a cold blooded killer out walking the streets. Unless you know the truth and you know the murderer...
