I have a question about something mentioned in this episode. When talking to the neighbor, she brought up someone being released from Jail. Someone Matt may have been affiliated with years and years before. And Freddie asks her "if I were to say his name", but then of course there was a silence and nothing. I too, heard that 'rumor' about someone being released around the same time as the murder. Freddie, was that person ever questioned, as far as you know? obviously it sounds as though you know who that person is, and have you tried to contact them? that particular part of the episode is really sticking out to me. Obviously I understand you can not just mention their name, but do you believe that is a plausible theory?

I'm sure this will be included soon, if not in the next episode.

Not sure if anyone else caught it, but if this was an inside job, Brenda was over at the house before Matt got home. The lady said that normally Hannah had to get approval to stay over with Matt, but her mom and grandmother said it was fine....the question still is what was the motive.... If she came over as some accounts have been, and she slept in the SUV then left and came back from getting milk, could she have called someone to say that all was ready, and that she was not there, Then needed to borrow a phone to make a call to make sure that they were out and what was going on outside the house. The more I listen, the more I think that someone inside the family was involved.

Definitely something fishy going on.
I find it very interesting that when the music video people called and when Freddie first called about telling their story the family was all chatty, but as soon as Freddie started asking some tough questions.....silence from the family (and even threats). If they aren't telling their (narrative) "miraculous" story, they don't want to talk about it anymore.
Also interesting how their story to Pastor Byron was that this was Hannah's first sleep over. How miraculous! Except, that it wasn't true. She slept over a lot at her friends.
